Golemized strong-gravitational-lense

This project is a distributed computing hack that simulates the physical phenomenon of strong gravitational lensing, based on the work of Prof. Adam Bolton. It leverages the Golem network to parallelize the computation of lensing effects, generating frames that can be combined into animated GIFs. ## Key Features - **Distributed Computation** — Uses the Golem network to split lensing simulations across multiple nodes for faster processing. - **Parameterized Simulations** — Allows customization of lensing effects by adjusting parameters in the task dispatcher script. - **Frame Generation** — Produces individual frames for each simulation point, which can be compiled into animated visualizations. - **Efficient Processing** — A typical 200-point simulation completes in approximately 100 seconds of Golem computation time. ## Philosophy The project demonstrates how distributed computing platforms like Golem can be applied to scientific simulations, making complex physical phenomena more accessible and computationally feasible.
