💫 Deterministic event-sourced state and side effect handling for blockchain applications
DelphiOracle is a decentralized oracle smart contract on the EOS blockchain designed to provide reliable, near-realtime price feeds for asset pairs. It aggregates data from the top block producers, using a median calculation to ensure Byzantine fault tolerance and resist manipulation. ## Key Features - **Decentralized Price Feed** — Aggregates price data from multiple EOS block producers to create a tamper-resistant source. - **Byzantine Fault Tolerance** — Uses the median of the last 21 datapoints, tolerating up to 10 colluding or corrupt block producers. - **Incentive Mechanisms** — Rewards block producers with EOS tokens and proxy votes for contributing data, encouraging participation. - **Near-Realtime Updates** — Allows qualified block producers to push price updates at a maximum frequency of once per minute per asset. - **Multi-Asset Support** — Provides feeds for pairs like EOS/USD, EOS/BTC, and EOS/CNY with configurable precision. - **Random Number Generation (RNG)** — Supports a decentralized random data source for applications requiring verifiable randomness. ## Philosophy DelphiOracle leverages the decentralized nature of EOS block producers to create a trust-minimized and economically incentivized oracle, ensuring reliable data for smart contracts without relying on a single authority.
