Ultimate Beamer Theme List
A comprehensive collection of community-contributed Beamer themes for LaTeX presentations.
What is Ultimate Beamer Theme List?
The Ultimate Beamer Theme List is a curated repository of custom themes for Beamer, the LaTeX document class for creating presentations. It serves as a centralized resource for users seeking diverse, professionally designed templates to enhance their academic, corporate, or personal slides, helping LaTeX users avoid the time-consuming process of searching for and evaluating individual themes scattered across the web.
LaTeX users creating presentations, particularly academics, researchers, and students who need institution-branded or professionally styled slides, as well as corporate or personal users seeking varied design templates.
It offers an extensive, community-driven collection with previews for easy evaluation, saving users from manually scouring the web for Beamer themes. Its unique value is in centralizing dozens of themes—including minimalist, university-branded, dark mode, and creative designs—in one simple table format.

Pros & Cons
Pros
Curates over 50 themes, from minimalist designs like Metropolis to university-branded templates such as UA and KU Leuven, covering academic, corporate, and creative styles.
Accepts pull requests and contributions, allowing the list to expand with new themes and stay current with community developments.
Most entries link to PDFs or screenshots, like those for Execushares and DarkConsole, enabling quick visual evaluation before download.
Presents themes in a clean table with names, preview links, and brief notes, making it easy to scan and compare options.
Cons
The list doesn't vet themes for quality or updates; some linked projects may be abandoned, buggy, or lack documentation, as seen with older archived sources.
Users must navigate to individual theme repositories, each with its own installation steps and potential LaTeX package dependencies, adding complexity.
The table provides only basic notes, missing details like LaTeX engine requirements (e.g., XeLaTeX for bunsen) or compatibility warnings, leaving users to troubleshoot.
