Overview
This CorDapp is a demonstration of building a decentralized auction application on the Corda blockchain platform. It illustrates key Corda features such as scheduled events, state pointers, and atomic delivery-vs-payment (DvP) transactions. The application includes a fully functional client with an Angular-based user interface for interacting with Corda nodes.
Key Features
- Schedulable Auction State — AuctionState automatically becomes inactive after a deadline using Corda's event scheduling.
- StatePointer Integration — Links auction states to asset states without direct state consumption.
- Delivery vs Payment (DvP) — Atomic settlement transfers the asset to the highest bidder and payment to the auctioneer in a single transaction.
- Ownable Asset States — Asset states represent auctionable items with transferable ownership.
- Comprehensive Contract Rules — Separate contracts govern asset creation/transfer and auction lifecycle commands (Create, Bid, End, Settle, Exit).
- Interactive Client UI — Angular-based web interface allows users to create assets, run auctions, place bids, and settle transactions.
